Montgomery County regulations regarding locations of yard signs say that signs can only be placed on private property with the owner's permission. Signs may not be placed on the public right-of-way, such as in medians of highways or major roads, or within eight feet of a curb. Signs may not block access to sidewalks or other means of pedestrian or vehicular ingress or egress.
